I'm really honored to be a recipient of National Geographic Society's Emergency Fund for Journalists.

Thanks to this important recognition, I will be able to work on a photographic documentary in the coming months, telling a very delicate social story that must be made known.

The difficulties faced by families, especially women, in bringing a child into the world in such a complex social and health situation. Furthermore, during the Coronavirus pandemic stillbirth has been on the rise around the world. The reason of this increase it is not to be attributed directly to the disease, but for multiple reasons that must be carefully analyzed and discussed in order to prevent them or give the right assistance to mothers who have had serious complications.
